How to properly remove your makeup
Well babes, by now we all know that beautiful skin is healthy skin is hydrated skin- but getting it hydrated is half the battle. The other half is making sure it’s properly clean. As pollution and sweat can build up during the day, clogged pores become an issue, and especially when you’re wearing makeup.
So what it is that we all need, no matter our skin type?
To know how to properly remove our makeup.
So grab your Konjac sponge and get ready: we’re sharing our favorite products to help you get the job quickly and effectively done.

No.1: Micellar Water
Hailed as a beauty miracle worker, micellar water which consists of tiny oil molecules that act like a magnet to remove dirt, oil, and makeup from the skin. This helps to cleanse, tone and hydrate the skin all at once while avoiding irritation. With a cotton pad, gently press into the skin and wipe across the face and eyes to remove dirt and oily buildup. Remember to never rub it in. We love the Skeyndor Aquatherm Micellar Water cleanser made with water from Salies-De-Bearn in the French Pyrenees.

No.2: Facial Cleanser
As a rule for cleansing your face especially with heavy makeup, one cleansing is not enough to remove all the impurities from your skin: you need to double cleanse. As the name suggests, it’s all about cleansing your skin twice—first with a no-rinse cleanser and then with a rinse-off product. After micellar water, follow up with a gentle foaming gel like our favorite Thalgo Cleansing Cream foam. This soap-free cleanser gently cleans without drying-out the skin. Easy to rinse, it leaves the skin perfectly clean and fresh. Rinse it off with lukewarm water (never hot water) and gently pat dry.

Extra tip: Focus on your eyes and lips. Make sure that your foundation has been completely removed (put your hair back and check your hairline) then focus on your eyes and lips. To get every bit of waterproof mascara and long-wear lipstick off, use the Mavala Cleansing Milk with cotton swab and gently go over your eyelids and your lips, especially the edges where product might build up. And remember: don’t rub the cotton into your skin, rather move it gently from the inside to the outside, in one direction only.

No.3: Hydrate
Now that it’s clean it is imperative to hydrate your skin for a beautiful complexion. For a radiant and fresh look we love hyaluronic acid and especially the Skeyndor Power Hyaluronic moisturizing cream with a high content of hyaluronic acid in a lightweight formula that replenishes skin. Smooth two to three drops (a little goes a long way) over the face and neck.
You can use this to remove your makeup whenever you need during the day or night, just remember to always hydrate with the right product for your skin type!Â
